Now you are invited to be a part of Love Cornwall 2008. The Anglican Church and the Methodist Church have already given the ‘mission’ their official blessing as have many of the big independent evangelical churches, the Pentecostals and the Assemblies of God. But it is one thing to have ‘official blessing’ and another for everybody to give their active support and turn the vision into life changing reality. The hope of Love Cornwall is to bring the good news and the challenge of the Gospel into the lifeblood of every community in Cornwall – every town, every village, every hamlet – everywhere where there is a Christian presence, however small, however elderly. Jesus’ commission to the disciples was to them all and to all who would believe through their words – and that means all Christians today. God is neither sexist nor ageist. He has promised to ‘pour out his Spirit on all people’ this is one enterprise that we should all be in together!
