The things that will really count, the stuff which could 'change the world' will be the things that happen locally. Just think about it. If, in every single village and hamlet in Cornwall (better still across the whole of Britain) there are churches following the whole 'Hope '08' agenda, if every church displays a 'Love Cornwall' poster on their outside notice board, if every Christian sports a 'Love Cornwall' sticker in their car, if every church hosts an outreach event under the 'Love Cornwall' banner - people are going to notice because it will be all around them? What is all this about 'Love Cornwall'? It is about Christians, all Christians, breaking their cover and breaking the good news of Jesus Christ into a country and culture which has lost its way. Big events will only reach the few, but together, if everyone plays a part, the congregations and churches of Cornwall can touch everyone with the love of God.
