Tell your neighbours you are a Christian. Let it show in your life. Don’t just live it - talk about it too. To quote Eddie Fox, ‘Let the redeemed of the Lord say so! To quote Ishmael, ‘Don’t hide your light under a dirty old bucket!’
Witness in the course of conversation that knowing God really makes a difference.
Get involved in activities outside the church and ‘gossip the Gospel’. Most of us, having been Christians for more than five years, find our circle of friends rapidly decreasing to centre on the church alone. It may make us feel secure but it isolates us from the others - those who blaspheme, swear, drink, do drugs, fornicate - or simply lead good, clean, law abiding lives - but don’t know God and miss out on the joy of eternal life now.
