Prepare a 'Welcome pack' for people moving into the neighbourhood. Be creative with it. Include a packet of biscuits and some tea bags, or a bar of chocolate, as well as details about local schools, churches, doctors, bus services, facilities etc. Have each member of the congregation watch their road for houses changing hands and take responsibility for delivering the pack in person.
